1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the purchase, download, and use of all Minecraft plugins, digital assets, animations, and related services provided by AmethystMC, owned and operated by Iretemi Ogunlaja ("Owner", "we", "us", or "our").
By purchasing, downloading, commissioning, or using any products from AmethystMC, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree, you must not purchase or use our products.
If the buyer is a minor as classified in their country, you are also agreeing that a legal guardian has read and agreed to the following terms and conditions.
2. Ownership & Intellectual Property
All plugins, animations, digital assets, models, textures, source code, compiled files, and related materials sold under AmethystMC are owned by or licensed to Iretemi Ogunlaja.
This includes but is not limited to:
- All custom code
- All animation files
- All models and textures
- All commissioned contractor work
- Branding and logos
Where assets are created by contractors or modellers, individual creators may be credited for their contributions.
Purchasing a product grants you a limited licence to use it — not ownership.
3. Licence Terms
When you purchase a product, you are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to:
- Use the plugin on your own Minecraft server
- Use purchased animations/assets in your own project
- Modify configuration files for personal use
You may NOT:
- Share the files with others
- Resell or redistribute the product
- Upload files publicly or privately
- Provide the files to another server owner
- Reverse engineer or copy the code
- Claim the product as your own
Each server owner must purchase their own licence.
4. Strict No Sharing Policy
Sharing purchased files is strictly prohibited.
This includes:
- Sending to friends
- Sharing with staff outside your ownership
- Uploading to file hosts
- Distributing modified versions
If files are shared:
- Your licence will be permanently revoked
- Access to updates will be removed
5. DMCA & Copyright Enforcement
All products are protected under UK copyright law and international copyright agreements, including enforcement mechanisms similar to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
If any product is leaked, shared, or redistributed without permission, we reserve the right to:
- Issue takedown notices
- Contact hosting providers
- Contact payment processors
6. Support & Updates
Support is provided at our discretion. We are not responsible for:
- Conflicts with third-party plugins
- Server misconfiguration
- Compatibility with future Minecraft versions unless stated
We reserve the right to discontinue products at any time.
7. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our products or services.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Loss of profits
- Loss of revenue
- Loss of data
- Server downtime
- Business interruption
8. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate access to our products if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must delete all copies of the product. No refunds will be issued.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our products after updates means you accept the changes.
10.Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
